OMG!!! I saw LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL and I liked it | Arts & Design

It was like, so awesome!!

Now I will admit I have not watched the original movie. In entirety. Maybe caught a few scenes of it now and then while flicking through channels. My wife did watch it. About 12 times. So when I saw the banner for the performance by Front Row Centre Players on the way to work, I knew I had the perfect surprise gift for her. Little did I know, I was in for a surprise.

Omigod, it was like the most hilarious performance by immensely talented cast and crew.

It was something like out of a Saturday Night Live episode with Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell.

The script stayed true to the original story (as confirmed by my wife) but also included some hilarious satirical yet thought-provoking intakes – The numbing effect of the department store (Call of the Mall, anyone??), European or Gay?
